Social media culture has transformed the way we act, the way we dress, and the personas that we create. Through manicured profiles on Instagram, Facebook, etc., influencers have gradually shaped our communities into ones that expect perfection and uniformity. Every teenage boy or girl is pressured to have a certain presence online, and those false realities have seeped into our every day lives. Through a satirical take on tinder profiles, I plan to expose the true personalities behind the stereotypes we all force ourselves into. Utilizing cliché profile pictures, I will fabricate stereotypical personalities, then use the biography section of each profile to expose the subjects’ true colors and show that no one truly fits the mold.
